Group Office Setup Bug: No Login Page after successful Setup

Posted on 9. February 2026

Bug Report – Problem no “Login” Dialog:

Today i upgraded SUCCESSFUL my Mailserver with Group Office Community Edtion BUT:

Technical Setup:

  • Version: 25.0.80
  • PHP8.2 incl. all needed Modules
  • Apache24
  • Mariadb10
  • Redis
  • Memcached
  • php_fpm

System Log Echos:

  • no Errors on Log
  • no Debug Info if Debug switched on Group Office
  • nothing.. to view

All System stuff runs perfect for the Setup, but on the Reload Page, the last Install Step, then “BAM” Blue Screen Wallpaper only  and NO LOGIN BOX!

Analyse  & Repair Steps:

I tried a Downgrade to older Version:

  • BAM .. nothing.. this sucks
  • checked again all Services and Config Files .. ok
  • switched Mariadb from Socket to Port 3306 .. nothing

Solution & Workaround:

Now i remind about a VERY old well known Problem, the Browser fails to handle the PHP & Scripts Code??

  • I switched from Chromium to Firefox…
  • BAM it works..
  • This happens too on big PHP-Kits like Peregrine Service Center Setups.. at my Workspaces
  • what a real bad nonsense..

Results:

  • The Developer forgot to integrate a BROWSER VERSION CHECK and WARNING POPUP in Page Headers!
  • Most Pages do this current as DEFAULT USER INFORMATION! my old Teacher say lessons learned..
  • Group Office is cool but the Developer must look over the Table Borders to prevent burning Lifetime for Admins.
